PAL Announces Major Deal For A321s, A330s

Philippine Airlines (PAL) confirms it is ordering 54 Airbus aircraft, including 10 A330-300s and 44 A321s. The news follows AviationWeek’s exclusive report on Aug. 24 that PAL would be ordering these aircraft, and that the deal would be announced as early as today. PAL has also confirmed that first deliveries of the A321s will be in the second half of 2013 and that they will be used on domestic and short-haul international routes.
