Pets fly free in April
(April 2nd, 2012) -SeaPort Airlines today made two announcements that will make both pet owners and their furry friends ecstatic.
In honor of the upcoming National Pet Month, SeaPort Airlines is waiving pet fees when a pet is traveling with their owner on the same itinerary throughout the month of April. Man's best friend deserves to be spoiled on occasion, so don't be afraid to "throw your dog a bone" this month and bring him or her along on your travels!
The company is also making a more permanent change to its pet policies for relocating military families, offering free pet transportation for all military families traveling to a SeaPort destination when they show their relocation orders.
"This small gesture is just one way we can show our gratitude for the men and women that fight for this country," said Rob McKinney, President--SeaPort Airlines. SeaPort Airlines also waives overweight bag fees for active duty military personnel with military I.D.
SeaPort is hosting a contest on its social media pages to celebrate National Pet Month; one winner will receive two (2) round trip ticket vouchers. To participate, post photos of your cat, dog, fish, or other pet on an official SeaPort Airlines Twitter, Facebook, or Google Plus page by April 30th,2012. Rules and restrictions apply.
Pet must be traveling with an adult passenger on the same itinerary. Pet carrier required; pet cannot exceed 40 lbs with carrier, and must have all current vaccinations and flea treatments.
