SeaPort Airlines donates $5K in flights to KU Med
(March 14, 2012) - Amber Baxter, SeaPort Airlines customer service representative, hands over more than $5000 in flight vouchers Dr. William Cathcart-Rake, director of Kansas University School of Medicine's Salina campus.
"It means a lot to us to have SeaPort Airlines support," said Dr. Cathcart-Rake. "Our students and staff often travel between Salina and Kansas City. SeaPort makes those trips more productive and less expensive for us." No stranger to donations, SeaPort offered up more than $30,000 in flight vouchers and cash in 2011 for various contests, drawings charitable organizations and programs. |

The Salina Airport Authority is a body corporate and politic. The Authority was created by the City of Salina in April 1965 pursuant to the authority granted by the City by the surplus property and public airport authority act of the State of Kansas. The Authority is managed and controlled by a five-member Board of Directors appointed by the Salina City Commission.
The Salina Airport Authority is home to the Salina Municipal Airport, the Salina Aviation Service Center and the Salina Airport Industrial Center.
