Baltic Ground Services signs an agreement with Lufthansa Group to provide into-plane fuelling services in the three largest airports in Poland

Baltic Ground Services has signed an into-plane fuelling services agreement with one of the largest aviation companies in the world Lufthansa Group which owns such globally renowned carriers as Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Austrian Airlines AG, SWISS International Air Lines Limited, Germanwings GmbH and others. Baltic Ground Services will provide into-plane fuelling services to these airlines in the largest three airports in Poland – Warsaw, Krakow and Katowice.

According to S.Batavicius, in order to increase the company’s competitiveness and expand its Polish market share even further, Baltic Ground Services will continue to keep its strategic plan on track and invest even more resources into improving its infrastructure and expanding the list of its capabilities in 2012.


The aircraft ground handling services provider serving the largest airlines in Europe projects that the into-plane fuelling services for the Deutsche Lufthansa AG carriers will increase the scope of its activities by 40%. Last year Deutsche Lufthansa AG carried over 100 million passengers. The group companies that own more than 400 subsidiaries and associated enterprises worldwide, operate the fleet of almost 700 aircraft.
