FL Technics Jets to provide maintenance services for the Russian Federation registered aircraft
The Federal Air Transportation Agency of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has granted the business jets line and base maintenance company FL Technics Jets the certificate allowing to serve aircraft registered in the Russian Federation. According to the certificate, FL Technics Jets can now provide line and base maintenance services for business jets in the region.
“Our exceptionally convenient geographical location makes us attractive to companies based in both the East and the West. Hence the newly received certificate that allows us to serve aircraft registered in Russia is an expedient and significant step not only towards expanding our activities in the Russian Federation but also strengthening our market position in the emerging markets where the demand for aviation services is on a steep increase,” commented the CEO of FL Technics Jets Darius Saluga.
According to D.Saluga, the need for expanding the spectrum of aircraft technical maintenance services is based on the rapidly growing and developing aircraft fleet in Russia. It is believed that the general economic growth in the region had a major impact on a rising number of commercial aircraft in Russia (from 100 in 2004 to 380 such aircraft in 2010). Aviation experts expect that by 2030 the region will boast 1535 new business class aircraft. Such increase can be explained not only by one of the lowest costs of running business class aircraft in the region but also by the growing need for saving time and ensuring flexible schedules that are crucial for arranging business meetings on board.
Last year the Hawker Beechcraft 700/750/800/800XP/850XP/900XP were incorporated in the EASA Part-145 certificate allowing FL Technics Jets to perform line and base maintenance on these particular types of aircraft. This year the company has become the first Hawker Beechcraft Authorized Service Centre for serving warranted Hawker 125 series aircraft in Eastern Europe.
