BOC Aviation signs for 15 Embraer 190 aircraft
Asia’s leading aircraft leasing company makes first purchase of Embraer aircraft .
Singapore, November 22, 2011 – Embraer and BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based aircraft leasing company, have signed a contract for the sale of fifteen EMBRAER 190 aircraft (E190). Deliveries are scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2012 through 2014.
BOC Aviation is Embraer’s newest aircraft leasing company customer. The E190 is particularly attractive to aircraft leasing companies for its operational versatility and proven adaptability to a wide range of airline business models around the world.
According to Paulo Cesar de Souza e Silva, Embraer President, Commercial Aviation, “the expertise, experience, and market penetration of BOC Aviation will provide our mutual airline customers with a wider range of financing opportunities as airlines continue to grow their E-Jet fleets.
