European turboprop aircraft manufacturer ATR will attend the Dubai Air Show, 13-17 November 2011 . ATR will be present as exhibitor: stand C 400, Central Hall

ATR commercial situation
ATR has reached; -up to November 2011- a record year of sales, with 145 firm orders, plus 72 options (total value: US$ 4.8 Billion). ATR has today an historical backlog of 267 aircraft (total value: US$ 6.1 Billion), which represents some four years of production. From the beginning of 2011, 80% of the 50 to 90-seat regional aircraft sold in the world are ATRs.
ATR in Middle East & Africa
ATR is well established in the Africa & Middle East, with more than 100 aircraft flying with 36 operators over 25 countries of the region. ATR recently introduced into service the new ATR 72-600s with Royal Air Maroc in August 2011. In the coming months, ATR will set up new training facilities in Johannesburg, South Africa and in Bangalore, India.
