Embraer to enhance Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 customer support in Russia



Company improves its customer support network in Russia to meet increasing fleet .

São José dos Campos, September 2011 – Embraer signed, yesterday, at the sixth Russian International Business Aviation Exhibition, JetExpo 2011, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo to work on establishing an enhanced maintenance service able to respond 24/7 with certified mechanics, special tools and a readily available on-site spare parts stock. Already approved as Embraer Authorized Service Center at Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) since 2009 for line support, Jet Aviation will hold a comprehensive stock of parts consigned by Embraer available for Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 executive jets.

“It’s our commitment to continue growing and improving our service center network. This new on-site stock in Moscow, with a 24/7 Aircraft On Ground (AOG) maintenance support, is an important milestone in our strategy to provide the best support for the Legacy customers,” said Antonio Martini Neto, Vice President, Customer Support and Services, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) – Embraer Executive Jets. “We are delighted to reinforce our relationship with Jet Aviation Moscow, a strong partner to support our Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 customers in Russia.”

Embraer and Jet Aviation are working together to have this enhanced service implemented by December 2011, right after the contract is signed. Jet Aviation will consequently increase its workforce to better support Legacy customers.

“As part of our collaboration with Embraer to enhance maintenance services, the extended spare parts consignment ultimately serves to reduce the downtime of aircraft and thus increase operators’ aircraft utilization,” said Ian Ludlow, General Director at Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo.

Embraer has a global network of over 50 Company-owned and authorized service centers for its executive jets. The network is complemented by a Customer Service Center located at the Company’s headquarters, in São José dos Campos, Brazil, which offers 24/7 assistance to Embraer executive jet customers anywhere in the world.
