Airbus corporate aircraft to take centre stage at EBACE 2011

Airbus will underscore the unrivalled passenger comfort provided by its full range of corporate aircraft with a high-profile presence at next week’s Annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.

To further reinforce this industry leadership, Airbus is bringing two of the most spacious corporate aircraft available today – its Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) and A320 Prestige, marking the first joint appearance by these modern aircraft at the Geneva event, which opens on 17 May.

The ACJ to be exhibited at EBACE 2011 is operated by K5-Aviation GmbH, and features a cabin completed by Airbus-approved outfitter Fokker Services. It includes seating around tables, a lounge area and private office/bedroom, as well as an en-suite bathroom and shower.

The A320 Prestige is managed by Comlux and is available for VVIP charter operations. Its cabin – which is the first ever completed by Comlux America – also comprises a lounge section and private office/bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and is further enhanced with several rows of first-class seating.

Airbus corporate jets such as the ACJ and A320 Prestige feature cabins that are approximately twice as wide as traditional corporate aircraft for maximum comfort, but with similar external dimensions. Derived from the world’s most modern airliner family, these business aircraft deliver all of the benefits modern technology has to offer – including fuel-, weight- and maintenance-saving airframes, and a choice of efficient engines.

To date, the company’s corporate aircraft have won more than 170 sales to date, and are flying on every continent – including Antarctica.
