Bombardier Reports the Impact of the Adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for its Fourth Quarter and Year ended January 31,
Bombardier today announced the release of its restated results under IFRS for the fourth quarter and year ended January 31, 2011 .
On January 19, 2011, Bombardier held an information session to explain the impacts the adoption of IFRS will have on the Corporation’s results. On this occasion, the Corporation released its opening statement of financial position as at February 1, 2010, as well as its first and second quarter results of fiscal year 2010-11 (year ended January 31, 2011), based on IFRS. On February 16, 2011, Bombardier released its third quarter results of fiscal year 2010-11 based on IFRS.
Bombardier has now completed the restatement of its quarterly financial results for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2011 and will be reporting its first full set of consolidated financial statements prepared under IFRS for fiscal year 2011-12, starting with the first quarter to be published on June 1, 2011.
