U.N. Allows No-Fly Zone Over Libya

SINGAPORE .
The United Nations Security Council has passed a resolution authorizing the use of “all necessary measures” to protect civilians in Libya.
The Security Council also approved a no-fly zone over the country as well as the interdiction of ships carrying weapons and supplies to Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s regime. The resolution paves the way for possible air strikes and naval attacks against Gadhafi’s military forces. Initial attacks ...
