Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 showcased for the first time together at Sun ’n Fun



Embraer’s entry level and light jets at this year’s Fly-In Expo in Lakeland, Florida .

São José dos Campos, March 28, 2011 – Embraer will be present at the 37th Annual International Fly-in & Expo (www.sun-n-fun.org), held at the Linder Regional Airport (LAL), in Lakeland, Florida, United States, from March 29 to April 3. On Wednesday, March 30, at 11:00 a.m., in the Sun ’n Fun Fly-in Media Center, the Company will host a press conference to present a program update on its complete Executive Jets line.

This year, Embraer will bring two of its acclaimed aircraft: the entry level Phenom 100 – the world’s most delivered jet in 2010, with 100 units, and the Phenom 300 light jet – Flying Magazine Editor’s Choice award winner. This will be the debut appearance of the Phenom 300 at the show. Aviation aficionados will be able to tour both aircraft at Embraer’s booth MD-34A.

“Embraer is happy to return to Lakeland, Florida, and display the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 together for the first time at Sun ‘n Fun,” said Ernest Edwards, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales, USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean – Executive Jets. “Since our participation last year, the Phenom 300 increased its presence with individual buyers and entered service with fractional companies such as Executive AirShare and Flight Options. In addition, we were recognized by NetJets with an order for 50 Phenom 300s, plus 75 options. Furthermore, the Phenom 100 was the world’s most delivered business jet in 2010.”

Last year, Embraer delivered 100 Phenom 100s and 26 Phenom 300s. In total, the Company delivered 145 executive jets during the year, an increase of 23 aircraft over 2009, which was the highest, in absolute terms, among all manufacturers. Embraer’s 2010 market share reached 19%, or almost one in every five executive jets delivered, worldwide, was produced by Embraer.
