Global Passengers Top 5 Billion In 2010

Global passenger traffic, based on reports from 900 airports, surpassed 5 billion for the first time and increased at a better-than-expected rate of 6.3% in 2010, compared with 2009.

Cargo also thrived, growing by 15.2%, according to a final accounting of world traffic growth in 2010 by Montreal-based Airports Council International (ACI) ...
