Flexjet Expands Team With Three New Sales Directors
To further its goal of providing tailored, personal private aviation solutions, Flexjet is proud to announce the expansion of its Sales Directors’ team with three new additions. Simon Maina joins Flexjet as Fractional Sales Director serving the West Central area. Flexjet is also adding two sales directors who will be responsible for selling cards for the Flexjet 25 Jet Card program—operated by U.S. air carrier Jet Solutions, LLC—as well as the Flexjet charter card and on-demand charter brokerage services. Steve Taylor and Chea Neitzel will serve as Jet Card Sales Directors in the North Central and Manhattan areas, respectively. In these positions, the new hires will be focused on generating revenue and furthering the company’s presence in the private aviation market.
“With the economy continuing its recovery, new sales opportunities are being created across the country,” said Fred Reid, President, Flexjet. “The addition of Simon to our Fractional Sales team and Steve and Chea to the Jet Card Sales team ensures our ability to provide the high level of personalized service, for which Flexjet is known, to each of our current and future customers.”
With an impressive 20-year history in the aviation industry, Simon Maina joins the Flexjet team with a distinctive background in sales management and marketing development. Most recently, Maina served as President of Premier Aviation, LLC, in Broomfield, Colo. There, he was responsible for the daily operations of a fleet of charter aircraft and oversaw the company’s marketing strategies. In his new role, Maina will be responsible for sales of Flexjet fractional aircraft ownership programs in the West Central region—including Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming.
After serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps as a naval aviator, Steve Taylor took to the private sector, but never strayed from his passion for aviation. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Pentastar Aviation, LLC, in Waterford, Mich. There, Taylor oversaw and executed all aspects of the sales and marketing divisions while providing leadership to the operations and business units, including strategic alliances and partnerships. As a new member of the team, Taylor will be responsible for sales of the Flexjet 25 Jet Card and charter brokerage products in the North Central region—including Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana and Michigan.
Chea Neitzel’s notable career began in the U.S. Army, where she served as captain in the Corps of Engineers’ 18th Airborne Corps in Ft. Bragg, N.C. Although new to the private aviation industry, Neitzel is no stranger to the sales trade. After working in the pharmaceutical sales business for nearly nine years, Neitzel is eager to bring her award-winning sales acumen to New York and generate Flexjet 25 Jet Card sales in the Manhattan area.
