EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering opens new maintenance center in Marsa Alam Airport
Al Kharafi Group selected EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering Company to establish a maintenance center in Marsa Alam International Airport. This maintenance center will be established after the increase of the flight numbers that amounted to 8544 operations per year, expected to increase to 10,000 flights by the end of this year.
The selection of EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering confirms EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering as a key MRO provider in the Middle East and Africa for Airbus, Boeing and Embraer types.
With more than 78 years history, EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering serves more than 100 airlines in Europe, Middle East and Africa with a high potential workforce to satisfy its increasing customers from on the spot supports up to total care maintenance solutions.
Noteworthy, Marsa Alam Airport is the first privately owned and operated airport in Egypt and it is the first airport in aviation history operating under a complete BOT system. This airport is established to support the increasing tourism in the Red Sea and it receives B737, B757, B767, A320s and Embraer aircraft.
