Norwegian Secures 787 Leases for Long-Haul Ops

LONDON
Norwegian Air Shuttle is moving ahead with plans to expand its low-fare carrier operation to long-haul services, with the plan to have the operation running by no later than 2012 when it plans to field Boeing 787s.
The airline says it has secured the lease of two Boeing 787s from International Lease Finance Corp., with the aircraft due to arrive in the fall of 2012. The leases are due to last ...
