NASA Selects Alaska Company For Technical Information Support
HAMPTON, Va. -- NASA has selected Chugach Federal Solutions, Inc., of Anchorage, Alaska, to support the agency-wide Scientific and Technical Information (STI) Program.
The five-year maximum value of the contract is $38.8 million. The contract, managed by the Langley Research Center, Hampton, Va., is entitled Operation of the Center for Aerospace Information and Scientific and Technical Information Program Support.

NASA, as directed by the Space Act of 1958, collects and distributes
agency research data to the widest practical audience. Through the
STI Program, NASA acquires, manages and distributes data to advance
agency goals in aeronautics, space science and technology; and to
improve U.S. competitiveness.
The contractor will acquire, process and distribute unclassified NASA
and other STI pertinent to agency missions and goals. They will
provide STI via a Web-based environment and maintain Internet-based
search and access capability.
