Communications Software (Airline Systems) Limited (“Commsoft”) www.commsoft.aero, provider of market leading MRO software systems for aircraft maintenance recently held its annual Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System (“OASES”) User Group conference. Commsoft’s clients were invited to attend the event which aimed to review market user trends and assess customer priorities. The feedback from these discussions will be used by Commsoft in developing its OASES product to best support the changing needs of the industry.

The User Group Meeting was held at The Sheraton Skyline Hotel in Heathrow, London on 14th – 15th September. Delegates from 23 of Commsoft’s client companies attended the event to offer their comments on using the OASES MRO software. As well as giving their views, clients heard from developers about plans for the future evolution of OASES. Commsoft also took the opportunity to demonstrate the company’s new website to clients, highlighting how the ‘Member Login’ area will benefit them.

Nick Godwin, Commsoft Business Development Director commented:

Commsoft has made an enormous investment in driving key new functionality such as Line Maintenance Control and new Engineering facilities through close collaborative inputs from our growing customer base. Attendance at the OASES User Group 2010 was up by over 30% and this clearly demonstrates growing interest in our products and services.”

Stuart McMahon, Director of Engineering at Loganair added:

The User Group was an excellent opportunity to understand Commsoft’s development goals and with the other users, help shape the direction and priorities for OASES. It is refreshing to see an IT system provider so committed to working directly with their customer group and we got a lot from the event.”

Commsoft supports aircraft maintenance organisations with high quality, affordable MRO IT systems. Drawing on extensive experience in the aviation and IT industries, the Commsoft team has developed a set of easy to use but functionally sophisticated systems, which increase efficiency and reduce costs in many key areas.
