Boeing Exhibits Key Defense Systems at Inaugural DEFENSYS Trade Show in Greece
ATHENS, Greece, Oct. 27, 2010 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] will showcase key products -- including the CH-47 Chinook and AH-64 Apache helicopters, the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet strike fighter, the ScanEagle unmanned aircraft system, and Harpoon and Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapons -- at the first DEFENSYS trade show, Oct. 28-31 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
"Boeing's commercial and defense products have been well represented in Greece for many years," said Joe McAndrew, vice president, BDS International Business Development, Europe, Israel and the Americas. "The DEFENSYS trade show is an excellent opportunity for us to meet with our customer and highlight both products that are in service and those that meet the Hellenic Forces' future needs."
Boeing products that are currently in service with the Hellenic military forces include the F-4 Phantom, AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook, JDAM, Harpoon, and shipboard Electronic Warfare systems.
