Delta Selling Regional Subsidiaries

Delta Air Lines is selling its regional subsidiaries to two regional carriers for $82.5 million.
Delta announced July 1 that it has reached agreements to sell Mesaba to Memphis, Tenn.-based Pinnacle Airlines for $62 million and Compass Airlines to St. Louis-based Trans States Holdings for $20.5 million. Pinnacle already is one of the largest providers of Delta Connection flights, and ...
