Bombardier Business Aircraft Sales Leading Up to and at Farnborough Total Approximately 800 Million Dollars
Firm orders to date total 16 business aircraft including 12 Global Express XRS, two Global 5000 and two Challenger 605 jets.
Bombardier Aerospace announced multiple large aircraft orders during the week leading up to and at the world’s largest air show in Farnborough, U.K., for a total of 16 business jets valued at approximately $800 million US based on the 2010 list price for typically equipped aircraft.

On July 20, VistaJet of Switzerland placed firm orders for four Global Express XRS jets, including two with the new Global Vision flight deck, and two Challenger 605 jets. Firm orders were also announced for four Global Express XRS jets from undisclosed customers based in Russia. On July 19, Bombardier announced firm orders for two Global 5000 jets from Qatar Airways and on July 15, AVWest of Australia placed firm orders for four ultra long-range Global Express XRS jets, including two with the new Global Vision flight deck.
Challenger 605 jet: In service since January 2007, the Challenger 605 jet features the widest stand-up cabin of any large category business jet available today.
