System Warned Of Faults In CX A330 Incident

BEIJING
Investigators in Hong Kong, looking into the April 13 incident of a Cathay Pacific Airbus A330 that was forced to land at 230 knots (426 km/h), say in a preliminary report that the aircraft’s central monitoring system warned of control system faults with both Rolls-Royce Trent 700s before one became stuck at high thrust.
