Boeing Names Chang to New Boeing Commercial Airplanes China Position
BEIJING, March 31-- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today named Ian Chang, vice president - China Operations and Business Development, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The posting, effective immediately, underscores the company's long-term commitment to China.
Chang will report to Ray Conner, vice president and general manager of Supply Chain Management and Operations for Commercial Airplanes as well as providing support to Lou Mancini, senior vice president of Commercial Aviation Services. He will be responsible for overseeing Commercial Airplanes China operations, business development, supplier management and airplane services and support activities. He will work with Boeing-China President David Wang who represents Boeing's overall corporate interests in China.

"China is an important partner and a highly valued customer. This new position symbolizes Boeing’s commitment to China."
Chang, a 26-year veteran of The Boeing Company, was the general manager of Boeing Tianjin Composite Co., a joint venture of Boeing and Aviation Industries Corporation of China. The joint venture manufactures composite panels and parts for Commercial Airplanes current production models, including the 787 Dreamliner.
