Company will host open discussions about executive jets for the seventh consecutive year

São José dos Campos, September 15, 2009 – Embraer has invited all Legacy 600
customers, operators, and suppliers from the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean to
attend the traditional Embraer Executive Operators Conference (EEOC) at the Four Seasons
Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nev., U.S., September 15-17. The conference is designed to cover
technical issues through panel discussions and updates on all executive aviation products, as
well as to provide customers with the best ownership experience in the industry.

“From the very beginning of the Legacy 600
program, Embraer has been committed to building a
community of Embraer Executive Jet operators and to
providing them with an annual opportunity to meet
with the Company and each other to discuss topics of
mutual interest,” says Scott Kalister, Embraer Vice
President, Customer Support and Services, USA,
Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean – Executive Jets.

Kalister’s welcome message at the event’s official website stresses that, in today’s economic
climate, the Embraer executive jets team believes these times require closer contact with
customers, adding value in every way to their relationship with the Company. Therefore, this
event reaffirms Embraer’s commitment to an annual Legacy 600 operators conference, as
promised at the first one, in 2002. The meeting also explores more ways to make 2009 EEOC –
