Cessna yesterday flew the first production Model 162 Skycatcher light sport aircraft (LSA) to be built at the Shenyang Aircraft Company (SAC) factory in Shenyang, China. Cessna teamed with SAC to build and assemble the aircraft at the northeast China location. SAC also will integrate the engine and avionics before shipping the aircraft to the U.S. for reassembly at three Cessna regional locations.
