EADS is planning to raise its cost savings target, business newspaper La Tribune reported Monday, citing its own sources.
La Tribune said EADS was now targeting between EUR300 million and EUR400 million euros (USD$423 million - USD$564 million) of savings from its "Future EADS" strategic plan, compared to a previous target of EUR200 million of savings.
An EADS spokesman had no immediate comment on the Tribune report.
Separately, Les Echos newspaper said Britain would remain in EADS' A400M military airlifter program on condition of paying less than the other countries in the project.
