Livingston Selects LHT Malta For A330 Checks

Lufthansa Technik Malta gained a second customer for its new Airbus A330/340 hangar, which it just opened earlier this month. Livingston Energy Flight, an Italian charter airline, contracted Lufthansa Technik Malta to complete C checks for its A330s. The Milan-based airline operates three A330-240 aircraft, according to AVIATION WEEK's World Aerospace Database.

The new 35,000 sq. meter hangar complex at Malta International Airport in Luqa also counts Lufthansa Germany Airlines as an A330 customer.

Since Lufthansa Technik Malta's founding in 2002, it has completed more than 350 C checks.
