LAN March Passenger Traffic Up 7.6 percent
Chile's dominant airline LAN said on Wednesday its passenger traffic rose 7.6 percent in March, compared with the same month last year.
The company said international passenger traffic rose 1.8 percent during the month, compared with the year-ago month, while domestic traffic in Argentina, Chile and Peru, increased 25.8 percent.
LAN, which has affiliates in Ecuador, Peru and Argentina, accounts for more than half of Chile's international passenger traffic and nearly three-quarters of its domestic traffic.
