Turkish Gains Total Support, Base Mx Contracts

Turkish Technic has signed several maintenance deals with Middle Eastern and Eastern European air carriers.

The MRO will provide total maintenance support for two Boeing 737-800s for Somon Air, with line maintenance at Dushanbe International Airport, Tajikistan. Other services include engineering support and wheel, tire and brake overhaul.

Two Iraqi Airways Boeing 737-700s will be maintained by Turkish under an agreement that covers line maintenance at Baghdad International Airport, in addition to engineering support and component pool access.

Turkish also inked a deal with Air Via covering a C check on one of the Sofia, Bulgaria-based carrier's four Airbus A320s. The work is scheduled to take place in Istanbul, during the first half of February.

And, Turkish carrier Onur Air picked the MRO to perform a base maintenance C check on an Airbus A300-600. The maintenance is scheduled to take place between mid-January and the beginning of February in Istanbul.
